Terms and Conditions

By browsing the website musexii.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”), you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions of Sale and agree to be bound by them.

These Terms and Conditions apply to any person browsing the Site and/or entering into a transaction. These Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time by Muse XII, at its sole discretion.

Age restrictions To browse the Site or purchase the services and products offered by Muse XII, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. By browsing the Site or purchasing the services and products offered by Muse XII, you represent and confirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age. Muse XII shall not be held responsible for any false statement made by a user of the Site or any of its customers.

Orders All orders placed through musexii.com are subject to these Terms & Conditions. By placing an order or submitting a quote request, you agree to be bound by these terms. Orders are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment (for standard packages) or a 50% deposit (for The XII and Commission orders).

Pricing & taxes All prices displayed on musexii.com are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are before tax. GST (5%) and QST (9.975%) are applied at checkout. Total tax: 14.975%.

Minimum notice Standard packages (The Small, Medium, Large) require a minimum of 3 business days notice. The XII requires a minimum of 7 business days. Rush orders within 48–72 hours are subject to a +$50 surcharge and availability.

Cancellation & refunds Standard packages: no refund after order is placed. The XII and Commission orders: 50% deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations 7 or more days before delivery: remaining balance not charged. Cancellations within 7 days of delivery: full balance due. Force majeure: if Muse XII cancels due to circumstances beyond our control, a full refund (including deposit) will be issued or the order rescheduled at the client’s preference.

Alcohol content & age verification Muse XII cocktail gelée confections (Cosmopolitan, Espresso Martini, Le Litchi) contain alcohol and are intended for consumption by persons aged 18 years or older. By placing an order containing alcoholic products, the client confirms they are 18 years of age or older. The client assumes full responsibility for ensuring that alcoholic gelée confections are not consumed by minors at their event. Muse XII reserves the right to refuse delivery if there is reasonable cause to believe the recipient is a minor.

Delivery Delivery fees may vary depending on the service area, delivery schedule, and the location where the delivery is made. Delivery fees for an order may be modified by Muse XII due to unforeseen circumstances.The client or an authorized recipient must be present to receive the order. Orders containing alcohol may only be released to a person who is of legal drinking age. Muse XII reserves the right to request valid government-issued photo identification upon delivery to verify legal age. If age verification cannot be completed or no eligible recipient is available, delivery may be refused or rescheduled at the client's expense. Muse XII is not responsible for product quality after handoff if the client or authorized recipient is not present to receive and immediately refrigerate the order.

Order errors Each customer must verify that their order is accurate and complete upon delivery. Any claim must be made at the time of delivery. In the event of an incorrect order or any other error related to the order, Muse XII may, at its discretion, exchange, complete, or issue a credit for the incorrect items.

Product & allergens Our cocktail gelées contain alcohol, animal-derived gelatin, and may contain lactose or other allergens depending on the selected flavours. They may also contain traces of allergens present in the kitchen environment due to shared preparation areas. Alcohol-containing products must not be consumed by persons under the legal drinking age. The client is responsible for informing their guests of the alcohol content and for advising them of any potential allergens. If you or your guests have food allergies or dietary concerns, please contact us before placing your order so we can provide ingredient information for your selected flavours. Muse XII cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions or intolerances. Muse XII makes no guarantee regarding the absence of allergens or cross-contamination in the products it prepares.

Storage & food safety Gelées must be refrigerated at 4°C or below immediately upon receipt. Muse XII is not responsible for product deterioration resulting from improper storage after delivery. Best consumed within 3 days of delivery.

Out of stock Items Muse XII cannot guarantee the availability of the products and services offered on the Site at all times throughout the year. In the event of an inventory shortage, Muse XII will contact the customer to inform them and agree on an alternative solution, such as changing the delivery date, replacing the unavailable product, cancelling the order, and issuing a refund for the amount paid.

Intellectual property - The Commission All concepts, designs, and creative work developed by Muse XII remain the intellectual property of Muse XII until full payment is received. Upon full payment, the client receives the right to use the commissioned pieces for the agreed purpose. Muse XII retains the right to photograph commissioned pieces for portfolio and marketing purposes unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

Force Majeure Muse XII may be released from its obligations or suspend their performance if it is unable to fulfill them due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to riots or demonstrations, exceptional weather conditions, or damage affecting its facilities Such circumstances shall not give any compensation or reimbursement.

Governing law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Complaints and dissatisfaction For any dissatisfaction regarding a product or service offered and/or provided by Muse XII, we invite you to contact the Muse XII customer service department in a timely manner. Except in cases where intentional misconduct, gross fault, recklessness, or gross negligence can be proven, Muse XII shall not be held responsible for any damages resulting from the improper use of the products offered, the Site, or any fault caused by a customer
